Privacy Policy

At BSNL Speed Test (bsnlspeedtest.in), your privacy comes first. This page explains what technical data we read when you run a speed test or coverage check.

1. Information We Read During Tests

• Live Speed Metrics: When you click "GO", your browser exchanges test packets with our nearest server to measure your download Mbps, upload Mbps, ping, jitter, and public IP address in real time.
• Device & Browser Layout: We read basic screen size and browser version details so our speed gauge fits your mobile or desktop screen properly.
• Zero Personal Harvesting: We never ask for your phone number, Aadhaar details, email address, or call history to run a speed test.

2. How We Use Your Test Data

We use these technical metrics only to:

• Show your live download, upload, and latency numbers on your screen.
• Give you instant APN and router fixes inside our AI Speed Doctor tool.
• Map nearby 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G cell towers when you enter a 6-digit PIN code.

3. Cookies & Local Storage

Your browser saves your last 5 speed test scores inside its own `localStorage` so you can compare your morning and night speeds. You can clear that history with one click anytime, or block cookies in your browser settings.

4. Third-Party Services

We use Google Analytics and Google AdSense to keep this tool free for you. Those services may use standard cookies to show relevant ads and measure traffic across our pages.
